I am a planetary astronomer. My students and I study the rings and satellites of Saturn using images taken by the Cassini spacecraft. We do photometry (measurement of brightness) and astronomy (measurement of positions) using the Interactive Data Language (IDL) and Python. I am also passionate about equity in science for members of underrepresented groups, such as women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people of color.

For fun, I enjoy tabletop role-playing games (and have been known to run a game for students from time to time).
